SeaFrance Dover - Calais FerriesCalais Lighthouse - A Kids' Review

Calais LighthouseChrisThe lighthouse was great. First, before you go upstairs, you go into a room with astonishing models of boats, a thing which checks how many metres away from the bottom of the sea a ship is and loads of other things to do. Then, you go up 271 stairs to the top. It is brilliant. I couldn't believe the enormous views of Calais from the top Calais Lighthouseof the lighthouse.

GraceIt was hard work climbing the 271 steps in the lighthouse but it was worth it because the view from the top was brilliant, you could see over all of Calais even if it was very windy. It was quite interesting inside as the small museum tells you all about shipping in the past. There is also a map showing you where all the other lighthouses are in the area.

All the SeaFrance Ferries are great but the new boat (the Berlioz) is the best.
