What to Do
France is famous for three
things - eating, drinking and shopping. Of course, at SeaFrance
we had to try all three for ourselves, but only so we could
recommend to you the best places to eat, drink and shop to
your heart's content.
Of course, Paris has some
of the best designer shops in Europe, but you
don't have to go too far before discovering quality shopping.
Lille is a short drive from Calais and
boasts

shops
carrying the latest fashions. Calais, of course, is a quiant
town to shop for cheeses and meats in the town market - not
forgetting those holiday momentoes too!
There is no shortage of places to eat, either. From small street cafes, where you can pass the time away watching the world go by, or devour a fine five-course meal, washed down by a vintage wine. Savour the best cuisine in a Toques d'Opale restaurant in the Calais region, where you will be greeted with typical French custom and superb local dishes.

Our intrepid reporters Chris, Grace and Will have been

Be indulged with a massage, seaweed treatment or spa
treatment before your big day. There is plenty for 'hens' to do in northern
France for a party with a difference. For the stags, try your hand at
a bit of sandyachting, swing from the branches in the forests of Guines
or try a bit of testosterone-fuelling quad biking through muddy fields....!
